Chairman of the Board
Johan Volckaerts has been Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors since its incorporation in November 1996. He joined Andlinger & Company Europe in 1988 and was appointed managing partner in 1992. He is also the chairman and board member of various European companies. From 1978 to 1986, Mr. Volckaerts served at ITT Corporation in various senior finance management positions. He holds an MBA from the University of London. |
Chief Executive Officer
Gary Fry was appointed Chief Executive Officer in June 2008. He was formerly Managing Director of Adobe Systems Benelux, where he had worked since 2001. Prior to joining Adobe Mr Fry held various sales and management positions in the IT industry including European sales manager for Catalyst Solutions, a leading provider of enterprise-wide IT solutions, head of industrial support sales for Oracle, and a nine-year period with IBM, initially in engineering and then in sales. |
Chief Financial Officer
Alain Pronost joined the Company in August 1999 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Pronost served as an audit manager at KPMG Audit from October 1990 to August 1999, including as the audit manager responsible for the Company since May 1996. Mr. Pronost has a degree in business administration and accounting from the Institut Commercial de Nancy (ICN). He was appointed a Director of the Company in June 2000. |
Non-executive director and Chairman of the audit committee.
Gareth Jones has been a Director of the Company since June 2002. He is currently a Director of Speedsix Software Limited, a company specialising in high-end visual effects software for the film and video industry. From 1998 to 2002, he was the Managing Director of 5D Solutions Limited, from which Global Graphics acquired the digital publishing business including the Jaws RIP and PDF creation technologies. Prior to joining 5D, he spent eight years with strategy consultants Mars & Company. Mr. Jones has a master's degree in business administration from the London Business School. |
Non-executive director and Chairman of the remuneration committee
Pierre Van Beneden joined the Company in as a non-executive director in March 2008. He is the CEO of RSD, a Geneva-based provider of archiving and retrieval software for digital documents. Prior to this he was Vice President EMEA for Adobe Systems Inc. and President of San Francisco-based Critical Path, a NASDAQ-listed company providing messaging and identity management solutions. He also served in a variety of roles with Lotus Development Corporation before and after it was acquired by IBM. Mr Van Beneden holds a Ph.D. in business management from Paris University and a Master’s degree in the same from Paris Dauphine. |
