Global Graphics has worked with the PDF format since its inception in 1993 and as a result of its expertise in print and document formats worked with the Windows Development teams to provide consulting and proof of concept development services for XPS, the new print path and document format for Microsoft operating systems from Vista onwards.
The Company has a strong bias towards research and development and is a well-respected member of many standards setting bodies and industry organizations including the PDF and Office Open XML committees. In addition, Global Graphics Chief Technology Officer is the UK primary expert on the International Standards Organization (ISO) for PDF/A ( the standard for archiving electronic documents) and chairs the two ISO committees for PDF/X ( a subset of the PDF standard for printing).
