Your business software can make you less productive
Businesses should count the cost of inefficient software said Gary Fry, Global Graphics’ CEO in an interview this week with Fox News. Every week office workers waste hours struggling to assemble and combine information but businesses are oblivious of the problem. It’s one that’s been quantified by IDC who counts the cost for an organization employing 1,000 office workers as $5.7 million wasted annually on reformatting information between applications. Global Graphics’ own survey found 53 percent of 1000 US workers questioned attributed an average of 100 minutes a week to lost productivity on navigating and trying to use difficult software programs.
