Dynagram, the leader in innovative imposition technologies for the commercial print, digital print and prepress industries, and Global Graphics, world leading developer of technology for document and print solutions and developer of the Harlequin RIP®, will present live workflow demonstrations at drupa, in collaboration with MIS system providers GamSys and NovaVision. The demonstrations will illustrate live jobs created in an MIS system, moving to imposition and then sent to a RIP for final print processing. The live demos will be presented at the JDF Experience Parc on six occasions throughout the event.

The latest version of the Harlequin RIP® the Harlequin PLUS Server RIP (v.8.0) will be given its international debut at drupa (Hall 7, Stand 7.0D). Global Graphics' PDF technology powers new application from Dainippon Screen
Global Graphics’ PDF technology has been used to provide a powerful feature in a new application launched into the Japanese market by Screen. LeafThrough allows office users to flip through the pages of multiple electronic documents on their computer monitor, just like turning the pages of a book, without the need to launch application software to view the files. Screen is planning to export LeafThrough outside Japan from late 2008 onwards.

This achievement signals that the Harlequin RIP meets CIP4’s established interoperability conformance specifications. Global Graphics and Destiny collaborate to make interpretation for Microsoft's XPS document format available on embedded controllers
Global Graphics is collaborating with the Destiny Technology Corporation of Taiwan to integrate Global Graphics’ XPS RIP into Destiny’s proprietary embedded controllers, adding support for Microsoft’s new XML Paper Specification (XPS). The agreement expands upon the technology partnership that already exists between the two companies whereby Destiny licenses Global Graphics’ PostScript® and PDF technology as part of its embedded platform to Independent Hardware Vendors (IHVs). The addition of Global Graphics’ XPS RIP to this platform will shorten product development cycles for IHVs who wish to add support for the XPS document format into their ranges of copiers, printers and multi-function peripherals to support Microsoft’s Vista™, the next version of the Windows operating system scheduled for availability at the end of 2006.

Global Graphics (Euronext: GLOG) a annoncé aujourd’hui avoir conclu un nouveau contrat avec Justsystem Corporation (Jasdaq : 4686), un des plus grands groupes japonais dans le domaine du logiciel, aux termes duquel Justsystem va commercialiser sous marque propre les technologies développées par Global Graphics en matière de création, de visualisation et de manipulation de fichiers au format PDF, pour créer un nouveau produit qui sera destiné au marché japonais. Justsystem va par ailleurs prochainement proposer une version ‘allégée’ de Jaws PDF Creator dans le cadre d’une offre promotionnelle de ses produits-phares que sont Ichitaro et Hanako. Justsystem will also bundle a special ‘lite’ version of Jaws PDF Creator in a promotional package with its market leading Ichitaro and Hanako applications. Shipments are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2006.
