The Color-Logic and Harlequin partnership ensures that brand managers and graphic designers can effortlessly produce Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System files for consistent, reproducible printing of metallic designs and special effects.
With just CMYK plus either metallic ink, or metallic substrates and white ink, printers can produce 250 different metallic hues using offset lithography, flexography, digital processes, gravure, and screen printing. Metallic effects can be consistently produced across all the media in an entire marketing campaign.
Design Suite
The Color-Logic Design Suite, a simple Photoshop plug-in, together with the Harlequin RIP and its invert function which eliminates the need to create white ink masks, permits the use of variable data with white ink on metallic substrates. Graphic designers can effortlessly produce all necessary files for consistent, reproducible printing of metallic designs.
