Microsoft drew upon Global Graphics experience in print and document technology when, in 2003, they chose us to provide consultancy and proof of concept development services for XPS. We provided consultation on the XPS specification and developed a prototype XPS RIP for Microsoft's proof of concept development.
The XML Paper Specification describes the XPS document format. XPS is also the new print format for the enhanced Windows printing subsystem in Windows Vista.
