Job overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer with a background in C# software development to join our team in Cambridge. You will be responsible for selling our core software technologies to customers in the digital printing industry and working with the engineers within the customers' organizations. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical knowledge, excellent social and communication skills, and the ability to work confidentially within a sales environment. International travel will be required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners in the digital printing industry
- Present technical solutions and product demonstrations
- Communicate the technical and commercial benefits of our core software technologies to customers
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers during the sales process
- Collaborate with engineers within the customers' organizations to ensure customer needs are met
- Attend trade shows, conferences and other industry events to promote our products and services
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism when working with customers and partners
- Travel internationally as required to meet with customers and partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in C# software development
- Strong technical knowledge of software technologies for digital printing systems
- Excellent social and communication skills
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work confidentially within a sales environment
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Cambridge location is preferred but candidates based elsewhere but with a strong relevant profile and experience will be considered.
