High Volume Digital Printing
The high speed digital print market continues to grow and the increasing complexity of digital print jobs, due to the rising trend towards personalization and ever-increasing press speeds and resolutions, demands that a RIP processes huge volumes of data - fast.
The Harlequin RIP® range is exceptionally powerful and scalable and is proven in tests to be the highest performing RIP for digital presses. It renders PDF, PostScript and XPS files natively in one RIP engine and offers options for color management, screening, imposition, and font emulation – perfect for printing direct mail, books and brochures where high speed is required.

FAST performance at low cost
Today’s challenge is to achieve fast performance without making the bill of materials for the DFE too high. With multi-threading and Harlequin Parallel Pages™ the DFE processor cores are kept busy, ensuring the highest possible throughput. So in light and medium production devices there’s no need for a RIP farm at higher page rates, and for high volume presses that need multiple RIPs fewer servers are required.
Printing variable data and PDF/VT
Harlequin VariData™ gives you significant performance increases when processing PDF/VT and variable content in regular PDF files. It uses a unique method of intelligently recognizing repeated content and responds to changes in variable data usage.
Exceptional color management and screening
Harlequin ColorPro™ provides excellent color process control, giving accurate, consistent and predictable color reproduction for a wide range of workflows. Combined with the Harlequin Screening Engine, you can be assured of high quality, high speed digital printing every time.
