Global Graphics premieres a trio of product films at Page 2021 Online

Cambridge, UK,  29 January 2021: Global Graphics’ Tokyo office will be exhibiting at Page 2021 Online, a virtual event organized by the Japan Association of Graphics Arts Technology, and unveiling a trio of product explainer films.  They focus on the company’s powerful technologies for inkjet, as well as Mako™ the developer toolkit that is used in a wide range of print and document workflows.

The films have been produced specifically for the event, each one fronted by a Global Graphics’ product manager:

  • ScreenPro™ is Global Graphics’ award-winning screening engine that converts continuous tone image data into ready-to-print halftone screened data in real time. It’s designed to enable OEMs to maximize the performance of their digital printers and get to market quicker. In this film, product manager Ian Bolton explains why a standalone screening engine is always worth considering in a workflow.

  • David Stevenson, the Mako™ product manager explains the many features and capabilities that Mako™ offers and how, using its unique document object model, Mako’s C++ and C# APIs offer control over color, fonts, text, images, vector content, and metadata. Like a Swiss Army knife, Mako has many ‘blades’, each one matching a specific function.

  • Product manager Ian Bolton introduces Fundamentals, a single source of software fundamental to a label and packaging solution for a digital press. Fundamentals bundles Global Graphics’ Direct™ products with STEPZ and CLOUDFLOW from HYBRID Software and is especially suitable for label and packaging printers as well as introducing PDF creation and advanced workflow into products.
